Introducing an unusual case of a thyroid abscess

Our research was accepted for publication for the 12th Annual Research Week. We will present at Memorial Healthcare System’s Poster Presentation Competition in May 2025.

Our Goal

I took advantage of this unique opportunity to create a case report on treating an unusual thyroid abscess and contribute to the medical community's understanding of this rare condition. Thyroid abscesses are infrequent, and their atypical presentations can pose diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. By documenting this particular case, our mission is to offer potential effective treatment strategies, highlight potential failures, and provide insights that could aid in the prompt and accurate diagnosis of similar cases in the future.
